I’m Cristiano De Francesco, also known as The Italian Hairstylist, because apparently being from Milan and doing hair for a living made the nickname pretty easy to figure out.

Hair has been part of my life since the beginning. I grew up watching my father build his career as a hairstylist in Italy, and by the time I was nine, I was already practicing on family. Brave people. Heroes, really.

My journey has taken me from Milan to Palma de Mallorca, Ibiza, Moscow, Sydney, and now California, where I serve clients in Santa Monica and La Jolla. Along the way, I’ve had the honor of working with incredible clients, including celebrities, artists, models, and people who simply wanted to feel amazing when they looked in the mirror, which is always the goal.

My philosophy is simple: beautiful hair should look effortless, feel healthy, and still make people ask, “Wait, who does your hair?” I specialize in natural-looking color, sun-kissed dimension, healthy hair, and styles that feel luxurious without looking overdone.

For me, great hair starts with communication. I take the time to understand your goals, your lifestyle, your maintenance routine, and what your hair actually needs. Then we create a look that fits you, not just a photo you found at 1:14 a.m. during a Pinterest spiral.

Today, I’m proud to continue the legacy my father began in Sicily in 1957, bringing Italian craftsmanship, modern color techniques, and a deeply personal salon experience to every client who sits in my chair.

My mission is simple: healthy, beautiful hair that feels like you, only with better lighting.
