Hi, I’m Michelle McDevitt, also known as The Beauty Prophet, and I’ve spent the last 16 years immersing myself in the world of hair and makeup. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft with expertise in K-tips, wefts, curly cuts, hand painting, and special event makeup and hair, which has given me a unique perspective on beauty. I’ve had the privilege of being featured in magazines and showcasing my work at New York Fashion Week, which has truly been a dream come true.

For five years, I shared my passion for the industry as an educator, helping others to refine their skills and build their confidence. But when I made the decision to step away and pass on my salon in Redding, I knew I wanted to pursue something new in the vibrant city of Santa Monica. Now, I’m excited to be working one-on-one with clients, delivering that fashion-forward approach to beauty that I’m so passionate about.

Outside of work, you’ll find me exploring LA’s ever-evolving food scene with friends, taking peaceful walks with my Shih Tzus, Jake and Millie, or enjoying the energy of live music concerts. I believe beauty is not just about the exterior, it’s about feeling great inside and out.
